This is a side tour of the SuperScheduler tutorial. If you have not taken the SuperScheduler tour, please do so first.

The Set term is used to set the timing information for a task. It consists of  the following attributes: Repeating, Start time, Holiday/Weekend policy and Expiration time. We focus on how to set the Repeating attributes on this short tour.

1. Go to the main menu. Click on Module > SuperScheduler > Schedule Doer. Scheduler (Doer) panel appears. Click on the Add button. The Task Panel appears.

2. Click on the Set Term button. The Set Term Panel appears. Click the Repeating JComboBox you will see several repeating attributes

Different Repeatings will make different GUI parts visible or invisible,  here are a few examples.

Example1:  This job will run once at 10:25, Nov 8, 2005.

Example 2: This job will run every 30 minutes. the start time is 11:53, Nov 11, 2005. The GUI for the Minutely, Hourly, Daily, Monthly are similar.

Example 3: This is an example to set the pay day time for your Payroll department. This job will run on Friday, every 2 weeks. The start time is 08:00 Nov 10, 2005

Example 4: This is an example to set a quarterly report time for your marketing department. This job will run at the last day of a month, every 3 months. The start time is 10:00, March 31, 2005

You also can use the At specified times to do the same:

Example 5: This is an example to set a Town Hall meeting. This job will run on the first Monday every month, the start time is 20:00 Feb 2, 2006.

Example 6: This job will run 10:00, 10:20, 10:40 and 16:00, 16:20, 16:40, on the first day, 20th and last day of every month. The start time is 10:00, Feb 1, 2004.

Example 7: This job will run every weekday morning at 3:15 am on the first and fifteenth of each month, as well as on every Monday. The start time is 3:15, Jan 15, 2004.

Use the Set Term Panel is simple. It is very user friendly, so you have less chance to make errors. Hope you will enjoy it.
